Loved this. But about Stephen King. I can see that happening in some of his books. Have you read ‘11/22/63’? What a slog in the middle. He must have seen a mental squirrel for that one. Holy smokes what a lot of nothing in there. And I LOVE Stephen King.

I haven't read that one, but I can sure believe that. Sometimes his tangents are endearing, and sometimes I think he should fire his editors...

But on the flipside, he has IMO earned a right to write just as he pleases, even the tangents and squirrels are so well written that I'm envious.

I really connected with the joy you are finding in your writing process. Love the idea that you are reading the book while writing it.

This is the most profound thing I've read about writing fiction and somehow, it describes exactly how the experience has been for me too since I began. I cannot contain my excitement, nor can I put a hand over my smiling mouth. It is all my life is wrapped around now. Just writing my ongoing story and writing and writing. I see the characters in my dreams, in my kitchen when I'm making dinner and they go along with me on walks in the evenings.

I cannot shake them off and I love it. I love it and I don't feel alone anymore.

It's truly like living with ghosts who are somehow more alive than actual people.

Thank you, I'm not crying, I just forgot to dust my office.. <3

It really is! And they aren't scary as well. Couldn't ask for more.
